The Portfolio

This medium is found nowhere else but Central Art. The wine mosaics earned Jan the honor of being a Juried Member of the Best of Missouri Hands.

Collected by Jan from around the world, the recycled natural corks, foils, caps, cages, polished wine bottles, and glass are used in intricate mosaic compositions, providing exceptional beauty, interest, and personality. Each time the viewer peruses these works, they will discover more attributes.

These pieces take a different approach than any other collection in the gallery. Layer after layer of vibrant color pressed and smoothed emphasizes emotion.

The acrylic pieces combine curves, angles, shapes, and textures to create gentle movements. Each work of art is crafted with sophistication, beauty, and innovation. Vibrant or muted, each work invites the viewer to wonder.

A versatile artist realizes that not everyone wants larger pieces! Central Art hosts several collections of small acrylic mixed-media pieces, as well as gift-sized wine mosaics.
